Will Trevor Ariza makes a difference in the Lakers defense?

Will he makes a difference in the Lakers defense tonight if he play? I say Ariza can help the Lakers DEFENSE in shuting down either Manu or Parker, or maybe just limiting their offense out put. What your thought?

Yeah I agree with you. I think Ginobli is the key to the Spurs offense. If you find a way to shut him down than you've really limited their already struggling offense. Also if you keep Parker out of the lanes Ariza I think has a lot of length with his wingspan and people with long wing spans like Grant Hill and Marion have really bothered Parker. Of Course I think the real key is the Lakers role players whether they can step up offensively or will the pressure of the conf finals get to some of the young players. We saw a lot of hesitation and lack of experience in the Lakers matchup against Utah especially in the 2nd round.

i think the Lakers will have to work Ariza in, but if he's healthy it'll help, because he can provide some athleticism and defense that Radmonovich and Walton lack. It may also allow the Lakers to play both of them together even at different spurts. It only helps to get him back because it gives you more diversity- i mean you can use him to help with Ginoboli at times.

i think it helps us to get him back- and i think that you will see Walton's minutes go down.

I think that it may take Trevor Ariza a while to start being a really good defender because he's only coming back from his injury now. I think he'll do an okay job on defending Manu.
not like people think because he wont get the min and on the other end he is not a scorer.....again good defender not a great one and if you say he's better then luke and rad on D who isnt?
