Remember last year with trade demands and stuff? He is so competitive that for Kobe to be consistently happy he needs to win as well. I still hope the Lakers win but if they dont? Will he go back to his old self?

I would still not count them out, they are in the hole 2 games but next 3 are at home. HOWEVER, if they do lose, I would not worry yet. I think it takes about two disappointing seasons for Kobe to start being an arrogant jerk. He will definitely place the blame on someone this summer but not to the degree we saw last summer or after they lost to Detroit.

(I picked 2 disappointing seasons b/c the first time with Shaq was 1, plus the last 3 seasons, and the average is 2)

By June 25: Do an interview with LA Times trashing the triangle offense.

By July 1: Do another interview with Orange County Register, and trash his teammates. Be especially hard on Pau Gasol.

By July 5: React to a Bill Plaschke article that criticizes Kobe for pointing fingers to his teammates.

By July 9: Have a sit-down chat with Phil Jackson behind closed doors.

By July 17: Go into a full cry mode "Trade me or else"

Kobe was only mad last year cuz his team was no where near championship-level. If Lakers lose this year in the Finals, they still are the Best team in the West and second best in the League. Why would he want to leave.

And dont forget about Bynum. A 7footer to help LAkers with their rebounding and defensive deficiencies. But dont worry Lakers will still win it this year. InshaAllah
He will be crying again that the lakers suck and demand a trade. Then when they get Bynum back, he will be happy and act like the miracle boy.
